Vantiq is founded in September of 2015 with the goal of removing the complexity of building modern software systems. This time, Marty and Paul wanted to leverage their thirty-plus years of experience to build a next-generation application development environment combining everything from previous successes and failures. They pulled together the experienced group of engineers they had worked with throughout their 30 years of experience and began developing Vantiq.

Edge processing capabilities are added to Vantiq allowing for information to be ingested and analyzed on IoT edge nodes. This feature greatly increases the speed at which applications run while also increasing data security by obscuring personal information and not sending it to a central database.

Applications built in Vantiq can now incorporate human-machine collaboration modules, allowing for systems to flow through events and bring humans in to make critical decisions when necessary.

The Vantiq application builder evolves to incorporate low-code development tools, abstracting away thousands of lines of code to increase the speed at which applications can be developed and modified.

Vantiq wanted to simplify the way data was shared between distributed systems and applications. To address this Vantiq built and embedded an advanced event-broker into the product, allowing for events to seamlessly flow through the application and be acted upon when necessary.
